Dividends zeroed on update

I pressed the update button and then a large number of equities in my portfolio ended up with 0 dividends. This is only on the app. On the web site the same equities show the correct dividends.

Sorry to hear you are having a problem. We haven't had any other reports of issues like you are experiencing so far. If your portfolio is fine on the website then this sounds like a network error communicating with your device. If your other apps are communicating okay then try restarting the app. See http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/application/#section_3. Please let us know if this resolves you problem.

Thanks, but this isn't the problem. It occurs only with foreign stocks, i.e. stocks listed on American exchanges but the companies are from non-USA countries. In all such cases the frequency is automatically set to "None". I changed the frequency settings one by one by hand and the dividend payouts then displayed correctly. I forgot about this manual correction and when I updated the dividends later, all the manually corrected dividends were reset to zero. It seems that correcting the stock is not sufficient. The "override" button must also be enabled. If this is done, updating do actually work correctly, even for the manually corrected stocks.

Yes, the 'override' switch must be set to keep any manually set values from being replaced with the next quote update. Also as you point out our financial data feed provider has an issue with not setting the dividend frequency for ADR's, whereas the dividend amounts and dates should be correct. We are trying to find a solution to this, but in the mean time using the override should do the job for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
